First municipal cemetery in Neuwied. Laid out in 1783, then extended three times. Closed for burials in 1965. Crypt of the Princes of Wied and tombs of prominent Neuwied families. Declared a national monument in 1988. Exhibition in the former mortuary chapel open during guided tours of the cemetery.
