Sleeping Beauty wakes up

The beautiful landscape park above the city looks like Sleeping Beauty, who is kissed awake from her long sleep thanks to the great commitment of the city and citizens and is now putting on her most beautiful green dress again. The park has existed since 1839 and extends over around 2 hectares on the Marienberg, right next to the former Benedictine nunnery. Where once the spa guests of the cold water healing facility promenaded and sought relaxation, today the facility is literally open to citizens and guests as Volkspark Boppard. A walk through today's green garden realm previously meant the complex repair of the complex. Comprehensive care and maintenance measures exposed the old, existing pathways, reopened the lines of sight and thus brought a lost garden treasure back to light. The park can be called an arboretum due to its high number of species of trees. Marienberger Park is the starting point for the Marienberg Dream Loop of the same name.
